The vivo X300 Ultra is poised to offer a range of improvements over the previous generation, not only in terms of photography, but also in sound quality.
Vivo’s Han Boxiao shared on Weibo some details about significant improvements to audio recording and reproduction in the upcoming flagship phone.
The phone benefits from four microphones that work together to provide spatial audio recording supported by noise reduction and artificial intelligence technologies to isolate sounds and improve recording quality.
The new camera application will allow you to adjust the recording direction, choose connection from the front or back of the phone, with the ability to adjust the noise level from 0 to 100%, and control the gain from -100 to 100, which are features similar to professional recording equipment.
In terms of devices, Vivo has provided the phone with a larger and smarter upper speaker, as its size has become approximately 167% larger compared to before, with cavities reaching 0.8 cm³, compared to the traditional speakers in leading phones that range between 0.3 and 0.5 cm³.

The company has also improved the amplifier by 20%, improving the sound level in the low frequencies (around 300 Hz) by about 4 dB, while expanding the high frequency range from 17 kHz to 20 kHz.
Moreover, Vivo redesigned the upper right side of the phone to serve as a speaker cover, and moved the speaker cavity cover to the internal structure of the phone, which is a new design that was patented by the company.
These improvements appear to combine realistic demands in the devices with marketing touches, and the extent of their effectiveness will become clear when the headphones are tested in practice.
