The Zamalek club’s first football team is scheduled to resume training next Thursday in preparation for facing Al-Masry in the first round of the final stage to decide the league title, which is scheduled to be held next April 3.

Earlier, Mahdi Soliman and Mohamed Ibrahim, the duo of the first football team of Zamalek Club, underwent a doping test following the end of the Congolese Otoho match in the African Confederation Cup.

The match between Zamalek and Otoho of Congo, which brought together both teams on the grounds of Cairo International Stadium, ended a short while ago, for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Cup.

Zamalek was able to qualify for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup, after defeating its Congolese counterpart, Otoho, 2-1, after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Despite the presence of Saif Al-Jaziri in goal and playing with 10 players, Zamalek players were able to maintain a two-goal lead, ensuring the team qualified for the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup, and setting a date with its Algerian counterpart, CR Belouizdad.
