The Zamalek club’s first football team continues its group training, as part of its strong preparations for the upcoming confrontation with the Al-Masry team from Port Said.
The technical staff, led by coach Motamed Jamal, seeks to take advantage of the current hiatus period to raise the technical and physical competence of the players, and to ensure the readiness of the basic and alternative elements for the local competition with full force.
White Castle officials are intensifying their negotiations with a second-tier club to organize a friendly match during the next few days, to provide good technical contact that will help the players regain match sensitivity after the rest period.
Zamalek players resumed their training yesterday, Friday, after receiving a passive rest for 4 days, following the great physical effort in the recent period.
Lifting the physical load for players in training
It is worth noting that the technical staff of the first football team at Zamalek Club, led by Motamed Gamal, lifted the physical load for the players during yesterday’s training.
The players performed the physical section under the supervision of Nuno Costa Ribeiro, the load coach, and included various physical exercises and a ball section.
The players then went through a technical training session under the leadership of Motam Jamal, during which some tactical aspects were focused, before taking part in a division at the end of the training session to implement what was trained on in the technical session.
The White Knight is preparing to face its Egyptian counterpart at eight in the evening on Monday, April 6, at the Army Stadium in Burj Al Arab, in the first round of the final stage to decide the league title.
