The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has set the specifications for the chemistry exam for students in the scientific section of high school in 2026.
The Ministry of Education and Education explained that the 46 questions are divided into 44 multiple-choice questions and only two essay questions, pointing out that the questions will be distributed among the parts of the entire curriculum, and that they will also address understanding, analysis, and recall, and will be diverse in terms of their content, noting that the multiple-choice questions will represent 85% and only 15% essay.
How to hold high school exams in 2026
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has confirmed that there is no change in the method of holding the 2026 high school exams, as the high school exams will be held in two rounds, the first next June and the second in August 2026, noting that the first round in which the student gets the actual grade for the subject according to his effort in each exam, but whoever fails in two subjects or less and enters the second round gets only 50% of the subject grade unless the student postponed the first round exams and entered the second round, he benefits from the actual grade. Sources told Cairo 24 that the Ministry is currently studying these procedures in coordination with the relevant authorities, with the aim of tightening control within the committees and preventing the use of electronic means for fraud.
The measures being discussed include cutting off mobile phone networks during exam periods, especially in places where there are exam committees, to limit attempts at cheating using smartphones, Bluetooth headsets, and other electronic means.
