Journalist Mustafa Bakri commented on the incident of the martyrdom of an Egyptian citizen as a result of missile fragments falling on the Habshan gas production facility in The UAE.
Bakri said, in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform, that the Egyptian citizen was martyred as a result of fragments of an Iranian missile fired at the Habshan facility, noting that he was accompanied by two other Egyptians and two Bangladeshis at the time of the incident.

He added: “What was the fault of this Egyptian who was martyred? What crime did they commit? And what did they do? They are victims of this treacherous aggression without fault.”
Earlier, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Ghani mourned Captain of Engineers, With great sadness and sorrow, the Egyptian engineer Hossam Sadiq Khalifa, who was martyred as a result of shrapnel falling on a gas field in the United Arab Emirates.
The Captain of the Engineers Syndicate extends his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, praying to the Almighty God to cover him with His vast mercy, and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
He also confirms that the Engineers Syndicate will follow up with the competent authorities on all necessary procedures until the deceased’s body arrives in the homeland, and take the necessary measures.
