The Meteorological Authority clarified the weather conditions today, Saturday, in Egypt, and the weather today witnesses a continued gradual rise in temperatures in most areas, with active winds and the presence of mist in the early morning in some areas.

According to the Meteorological Authority statement, the weather today, Saturday, April 11, 2026, will be cold to cold in the early morning, hot to hot during the day in most areas, cold to cold at night, and the maximum temperature will be about 27 degrees Celsius, in both Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with chances of light rain.
The Meteorological Authority revealed, in a statement, the weather phenomena expected today, with the weather today, Saturday, witnessing the presence of water mist in the early morning, from 4 to 9 a.m., in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai. It may be dense at times, and suspended dust during the day in areas of the governorates of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and Western Desert.
Weather phenomena expected today
The weather today, Saturday, witnesses weak chances of light rain in areas of the northern coastal governorates at intermittent periods, and winds will be active at a speed ranging from 30 to 35 km/h, in areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea Governorate, which may cause sand and dust at intermittent periods.
According to the Meteorological Authority’s forecasts, the weather today sees weak chances for low clouds to form over areas of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Canal cities, which may result in light drizzle falling randomly in some areas.
The Mediterranean Sea will be light: moderate, and the height of the waves will range from 1 to 1.5 metres, and the wind direction will be northwesterly, while the Red Sea will be moderate, and the height of the waves will range from 1.5 – 2 metres, and the wind direction will be northwesterly to northwesterly.
