The General Authority of Meteorology announced its forecasts regarding the situation the weather Today, Saturday, it warned of a number of weather phenomena affecting most parts of the country.
Weather condition on Saturday
The authority explained that the country will witness chances of dense water mist forming, from 2 a.m. until 10 a.m., in areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai, and in some areas it may reach the point of fog, leading to reduced horizontal visibility on a number of roads.
Meteorology added that the weather will be very cold in the early morning, tending to be warm during the day, then very cold at night in most parts of the country, with frost forming on crops in areas of northern Upper Egypt, central Sinai, and the Western Desert.
As for the expected temperatures, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will record 21 degrees to the high and 10 degrees to the low, while the northern coasts will record 24 degrees to the high and 6 degrees to the low. As for northern Upper Egypt, temperatures will record 20 to the high and 11 to the low, and southern Upper Egypt will record 19 to the high and 10 to the low.
The authority also indicated chances of light rain, which may be moderate, on areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, extending light to the northeastern coasts at intermittent intervals, with low clouds appearing on Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Canal cities, which may result in light, ineffective drizzle.
