Mathews Ndlovu, the head coach of the team, spoke Zesco Zambian United announced the upcoming confrontation against Zamalek, at the opening of the two teams’ journey in the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.

Statements of the Zambian coach of Zesco about Zamalek’s confrontation with the Confederation

Ndlovu said during the press conference for the Zamalek-Zesco match: We are aware of the size of the Zamalek match and that it will be big, and we are prepared for all scenarios and we have a great ambition to present a good match.

He continued: We faced Zamalek earlier, and we seek to appear in the best light in tomorrow’s match, especially since the Egyptian people are passionate about football, but we are ready to face Zamalek in the presence of the large crowd.

Zesco coach continued his statements: Our plans began before qualifying for the group stage and we were dealing with each match separately, and after reaching the group stage we realize that things are very different now.

Matthews Ndlovu concluded his statements: The presence of the Zamalek and Al-Masry teams with us in the group is a good thing because it will test our progress and where the team has reached, and every point in the group will make the difference and we will realize the strength of the competitors and strive to repel the largest number of points.

Zamalek is competing in Group D of the African Confederation Cup, which includes clubs: Al-Masry, Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa and ZESCO United of Zambia.
