This comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to strengthen the textile sector and encourage industries capable of competing in local and regional markets.

The Prime Minister stressed that the opening of the project reflects the government’s orientation to deepen local manufacturing in the textile sector and enhance integration between local raw materials and modern technology, noting that the state pays attention to developing this vital sector, raising the value of Egyptian products and supporting exports.

While Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, pointed out that the “Shen Jin” complex represents an additional step in the series of the economic zone’s successes in attracting qualitative investments in the textile industries sector. It also represents added value by converting threads and fabrics into final products ready for export, while strengthening supply chains and logistical services related to the sector.
