Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education at the Ministry, confirmed EducationThe Ministry is implementing a comprehensive development plan for the technical and technological education system, aiming to prepare students with the skills required in the future labor market.

Updating educational curricula

Basila explained, during a video for the Cabinet Information Center, that the development process begins with updating educational curricula by benefiting from the capabilities and expertise of multiple parties, not limited to the ministry only, but also including the labor market, employers, and the private sector, in addition to cooperation with international bodies that contribute to preparing advanced curricula that keep pace with the needs of the labor market.

He pointed out that the Ministry is making great efforts to develop the capabilities of technical education teachers, by establishing specialized entities within the Ministry that train and qualify teachers, enabling them to efficiently present modern curricula to students, pointing to the implementation of comprehensive preparation and evaluation processes for technical education teachers, in addition to introducing new elements to work in this sector and training current cadres.

He added that the development plan also includes modernizing the evaluation and follow-up system within technological education, noting that this type of education depends on two complementary aspects: theoretical study and practical training, which requires precise mechanisms to follow up on student training within different work sites to ensure full benefit from the educational process.
