The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Beheira, headed by Mohamed Hadiya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply, implemented large ration campaigns in the centers of Mahmoudiyah, Shabrakhit, and Al-Nubaria, as part of the continued intensification of ration campaigns on bakeries, markets, and commercial activities, and following up on gas stations and gas depots, to ensure the regularity of work therein, the availability of funds, adherence to the established prices and controls, and taking all legal measures against violators.

Two gas stations were seized for collecting 3,967 liters of diesel for resale on the black market in Beheira

The campaigns resulted in the seizure of a gas station in Nubariya for collecting 3,467 liters of diesel for the purpose of reselling it on the black market to make illegal profits, in addition to issuing a report for not announcing the prices of petroleum products at one of the fuel stations, with visits to several gas stations and gas depots to ensure the availability of funds and adherence to official prices.

In the Mahmoudiyah Center, a gas station was seized for scraping and tampering with the “21 petroleum products” register, and the register was seized. A gas station was also seized for disabling the balance measuring device (ATG), in addition to a gas station was seized for not having a measurement and not announcing the prices of petroleum products at the station.

A gas station in Shabrakhit was also seized for collecting 500 liters of diesel for sale on the black market, and 5 reports of failure to announce prices for various commercial activities, and a report of failure to submit monthly notifications to one of the refrigerators for storing vegetables and fruits, were issued.

For her part, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of Beheira, confirmed that monitoring campaigns are continuing on a daily basis in all cities and centers of the governorate, to control markets and ensure that support reaches those who deserve it, while firmly confronting any practices that harm citizens.
