Two criminal elements were killed, in a major security campaign by detectives, during an exchange of gunfire with the police inside Al-Waqf Center, north of Qena Governorate.
The beginning came when the security services in the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the detectives about launching a major security campaign to arrest criminal elements and those accused in cases, one of whom set fire to a citizen’s shop and caused injuries inside the city of Al-Waqf.

The campaign resulted in the killing of M.J., 20 years old, and another, during an exchange of gunfire with security forces in an attempt to arrest him, in the city of Al-Waqf.
The two bodies were deposited in the morgue of Qena University Hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities. A report was drawn up regarding the incident and the relevant authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
