Tomorrow, Wednesday, the draw ceremonies for the World Junior and Women’s Volleyball Championships under 17 years will be held, which are organized by the International Federation of Volleyball, with the participation of 24 teams in each tournament, in a decisive step to draw the map of global competition.

Chile will host the women’s junior championship competitions from August 6 to 16, where the teams will be divided into 4 groups, each group containing 6 teams, with the top four finishers from each group qualifying for the round of 16, in a system that heralds strong confrontations starting with the knockout rounds.

The draw ceremony for the Junior Women’s Championship is scheduled to be held at three o’clock in the afternoon, via the official channel of the International Federation on YouTube, amid great anticipation to know the distribution of the teams.

On the other hand, Qatar will host the Junior Championship competitions during the period from August 19 to 29, with the participation of 24 teams as well, but with a different system, as the teams are divided into 6 groups with 4 teams in each group.

The first and second placed teams from each group qualify for the round of 16, in addition to the four best third-placed teams, which increases the intensity of the competition and gives greater chances for teams aspiring to qualify.

It is expected that the draw ceremony for the Junior Championship will take place at five o’clock in the evening, and will be broadcast on the same platform.

The Egyptian men’s and women’s national teams are waiting to get to know their competitors through the draw, as Egypt participates in the two U-17 World Championships.
