Today, Saturday, the First Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, is considering the trial of 63 defendants, in Case No. 14488 of 2024, felonies of assembly, and knowledge of the “Muslim Brotherhood’s administrative structure cell.”

The referral order revealed that, during the period from 2021, until December 4, 2024, the first to the fifteenth defendants assumed the leadership of a terrorist group within the administrative structure of the Brotherhood, the purpose of which was to call for disruption of public order, endanger the safety and security of society, disrupt the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedoms of citizens, and harming national unity and social peace.

The referral order added: The accused from the sixteenth to the last joined the group that is the subject of the accusation while knowing its purposes.

On the other hand, the First Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, decided to postpone trial 30 defendants in Case No. 576 of 2025, First Settlement Felons, known in the media as the Financial Support Cell, for the April 7 session to hear witnesses.

The referral order revealed that the first accused assumed leadership of a terrorist group during the period from August 2022 until April 17, 2023, with the aim of disrupting public order, threatening the safety and security of society, and disrupting the implementation of the provisions of the Constitution and the law, as well as preventing state institutions from performing their duties, and infringing on the personal freedoms of citizens, in a way that harms national unity and social peace. The rest of the accused, from the second to the last, joined the terrorist group and financed its activities, despite their knowledge. For its purposes, this is part of a plan aimed at providing financial support to members of the terrorist Brotherhood.
