The local unit of the center and city of Itay al-Baroud, in Beheira Governorate, announced the disconnection of electricity from the city of Itay al-Baroud and its villages, this morning, Friday, December 26, 2025, to carry out periodic maintenance work and the necessary tests at the Itay al-Baroud transformer station.

The local unit explained that the outage comes with the aim of carrying out periodic maintenance work and the necessary tests at the Itay Al-Baroud transformer station, “voltage 66/11 kV”, to ensure the efficiency of the network and the continuity of service in a stable manner in the future, noting that the disconnection time starts from seven in the morning until nine in the morning, and the disconnection includes the entire city of Itay Al-Baroud, and all its affiliated villages, in addition to all vital areas and service facilities at the center level.
The local unit called on citizens, owners of bakeries, hospitals, and vital facilities to take the necessary precautions and measures and manage their electricity needs during the outage period.
The local unit confirms that this measure comes within the preventive maintenance plan to raise the efficiency of the network, expressing its appreciation for the cooperation of citizens and their concern for the public interest.
