Today, Saturday, the First Circuit of Terrorism, held in the Badr Courts Complex, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, will hold a trial session for 32 defendants in Case No. 22697 of 2024, First Settlement felonies, known as the Financial Committees Cell.

The session was held under the chairmanship of Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, with the membership of Counselors Wael Omran, Gharib Ezzat, and Mahmoud Zidan, and the secretariat of Mamdouh Abdel Rashid.
The referral order said that during the period from 2008 until May 30, 2023, the defendants from the first to the fourth assumed the leadership of a terrorist group whose purpose was to call for disruption of public order and endanger the safety and security of society, disrupting the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and of state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedoms of citizens, and harming national unity and social peace.
The referral order continued that the fifth to the last defendants joined the group in question with knowledge of its purposes, and all defendants were charged with financing terrorism.
