The first football team of Zamalek Club will compete in the final stage of the league championship at the beginning of next April.
Zamalek will open the final stage, known as the Coronation Championship, against Al-Masry Club of Port Said on Friday, April 3.
Attempts in Zamalek to pay part of the players’ late dues
Cairo 24 learned from its sources that there are attempts by the Zamalek club management to disburse part of the players’ overdue financial dues, before the start of the coronation stage.
Zamalek management’s attempts to motivate the players and raise their morale before the decisive league championship matches.
Zamalek leads the Premier League table with 43 points, with a goal difference from Pyramids, which is in second place, and with a difference of 3 points from Al-Ahly Club, which is in third place.
On the other hand, the Zamalek club’s first football team is preparing to face its counterpart, Otoho, champion of Congo Brazzaville, in the second leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals scheduled for next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium.
