The monthly meeting of the coordination committee of the comprehensive health insurance system bodies was held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Health Care branch in Luxor Governorate.
An expanded coordination meeting for the bodies of the comprehensive health insurance system in Luxor
The meeting aims to enhance cooperation and unify efforts between concerned medical authorities to ensure the provision of the highest level of medical service to citizens and facilitate access to it.
Intensive presence of health leaders
The meeting witnessed wide participation from the leaders of the health sector in the governorate, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Sabry Al-Mallah, Director of the Health Care Authority Branch, Dr. Nahed Muhammad, Director of the Health Accreditation and Regulatory Authority Branch, and Dr. Rehab Ali Abdel Wahab, Director of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority Branch.
Dr. Khaled Youssef, Director of the Ambulance Authority Branch, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Naeem, Director of the Regional Blood Bank, and Dr. Mohamed Hosni, Deputy Director of the Health Care Branch, also participated in the meeting, along with a number of department directors.
Review challenges and develop field solutions
The meeting touched on evaluating the system’s objectives during the past period, and reviewing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The attendees transparently discussed the most prominent operational challenges that were monitored at the field application level within the governorate, while proposing practical and immediate solutions that contribute to improving performance and overcoming obstacles that may face the course of daily work.
Business and sustainability plan
The committee concluded its meeting by agreeing to formulate an integrated action plan to develop coordination mechanisms between the various bodies. This step comes to support the sustainability of the health system and enhance the institutions’ ability to provide integrated and fair medical care to all citizens in Luxor, in line with the state’s vision to advance the health sector.
The comprehensive health insurance system in Luxor Governorate seeks to raise the level of health care and provide the best medical services to citizens, in continuous cooperation with the Accreditation and Oversight Authority to ensure the sustainability of the quality of field performance.
