The Sohag Supply Directorate continues its efforts to monitor the production and pumping of butane cylinders to meet the needs of citizens, based on the instructions of Major General Tariq Rashid, Governor. SohagAnd Dr. Sameh Farouk, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in the governorate, especially with the approaching Eid al-Fitr.

In this context, Dr. Hala Abu Al-Futouh, Director of Internal Trade, and Abdel Rahim Hosni in the Petroleum Products Department at Sohag Supply, are continuously following up on production and distribution operations, as the “Butane Gasco” factory operates in three consecutive shifts to pump sufficient quantities of domestic and commercial stove cylinders to meet the needs of citizens.
The Directorate confirmed that about 57,000 butane cylinders were pumped yesterday at the governorate level, and were distributed through inspectors of the various catering departments, while pumping and distribution operations to the consumer public continued.
It is noteworthy that Sohag Governorate includes two filling stations for butane cylinders, namely the Butagazco station in Al-Ahaywa and the Multi station in the Western Mountain, where work is underway to ensure the provision of the necessary quantities of cylinders in the various centers and villages of the governorate.
