The security services of the Qena Security Directorate found the body of a newborn infant lying in the village of Al-Shaaniya, Nag Hammadi center, north of Qena Governorate.
The beginning came when the security services of the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Nag Hammadi Police Station, stating that the body of a newborn infant had been found in the village of Al-Shaaniya, affiliated with the Markaz district.

A security force immediately moved to the scene of the incident, and after examination, it was found that the body of a newborn infant was found lying in one of the streets of the village of Al-Shaaniya.
The body was deposited in the morgue of Nag Hammadi General Hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident. The relevant authorities were notified to initiate investigations, which assigned the Investigation Unit to investigate the incident and uncover its circumstances.
