The investigation authorities in Minya decided to refer the driver of the artist Ismail Al-Laithi’s car, who caused the death of 5 people and injured others, to criminal trial, on the grounds that he was accused of manslaughter, in addition to driving under the influence of narcotic substances, in the incident that witnessed the death of the late singer.

Q: What happened about the accident?
What happened was that I was working as a driver, and I was with a singer’s band named Ismail Reda Ismail, and I was working as a personal driver for him, and I was driving them to Farah in Abnoub in Assiut, and after I bid them farewell, the joy ended and we were returning from Assiut, heading to Cairo, and on the road to Bani Hassan, which leads to the eastern desert road, while I was driving, I found a car coming in the opposite direction of mine, and he gave me Nour and I gave him Nour and I went and took my right hand. This is how the accident happened and I didn’t feel like myself except while I was in the ambulance, and then they took me to Mallawi Hospital and I left the hospital and they brought me here.

The world was dark because there was no light on the road except the light of the cars.

A: I tried to learn Arabic, and I began to sway to the right, but he entered Arabic with me.
