The delegation of the first football team of Zamalek Club arrives in Cairo this morning, coming from Congo-Brazzaville, after playing the Congolese Otoho match in the framework of the African Confederation Cup competitions.

Zamalek had played a strong confrontation against Congolese Otoho away from home in the continental championship competitions and ended in a positive draw with a goal for each team, as part of the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Confederation Championship.
It is expected that the team’s players will have a short rest after arriving, before resuming training in preparation for the return match scheduled to be held in Cairo.
In the same context, the Zamalek delegation responded to the invitation of Iman Yaqout, the Egyptian Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo, to attend a breakfast party following the end of the team’s match against Otoho of Congo.
This came within the framework of welcoming the Zamalek delegation during its presence in Congo-Brazzaville, and the ambassador was keen to receive the members of the delegation in a friendly atmosphere, stressing her full support for the team and providing all means of comfort during its stay.
The Zamalek Club delegation was keen to thank Ambassador Iman Yaqout for the warm reception, and the role played by the Egyptian Embassy in facilitating the delegation’s mission since its arrival in Congo-Brazzaville, and providing all necessary support to the team.
