The details of the case began when Abdullah Rushdi, from a private hospital in the Fifth Settlement, was accused of medical negligence that caused the death of his wife, according to a report he submitted to the security services at the Fifth Settlement Police Department.
The report submitted by Abdullah Rushdi stated that the hospital caused a medical error that led to his wife, aged 35, entering a critical condition and her heart stopping, explaining that she was placed on life support until she passed away within hours.
The forensic report on Abdullah Rushdi’s wife revealed that the medical and surgical procedures performed by the accused gynecologist and obstetrician during the hysteroscopy procedure, which he performed on the aforementioned patient, were carried out in their entirety in accordance with the correct and recognized medical principles, in terms of his steps, the time of its procedure, and the type of fluid used as a buffer. These endoscopic procedures succeeded in completely eradicating the fibroid tumor in the uterus and the inflammatory cyst in the cervix.
