Artist Majed Al-Masry spoke about the success of the series Sons of the Shepherd, which was shown as part of the 2026 Ramadan race, stressing that the true measure of the success of any artistic work is the interaction of the audience in the street, and not just what is said on social media sites.
Majed Al-Masry said, during his seminar with Cairo 24: The measure of success is the street and social media. There are sites that speak the truth of God, and there are people who consider them a source of livelihood and who provoke you for the purpose of profit, and biased people.
He added: For us, the street is the real, hard-working people, and I say thank you for giving us your time and watching the series “Children of the Shepherd,” stressing at the end of his speech: We are beyond the evaluation.
