The artist Ahmed Azmy spoke about his participation in the series The Story of Narges, stressing that he felt very happy immediately upon learning of Reham Abdel Ghafour’s nomination to embody the character of Narges.
Azmy explained – during his appearance with Mona El-Shazly on the program “With You” – that Riham Abdel Ghafour’s relationship with her goes beyond work, as they have a strong friendship, and they previously cooperated in the series “Zalm Al-Mastaba”, which achieved remarkable success, noting that he saw indicators of the work’s success since reading the script.
Azmi added that he would have preferred to show the series during the second half of Ramadan, given the gradual dramatic escalation and exciting events that are increasingly capable of attracting viewers.
He also expressed his optimism since the start of filming, pointing out that the work atmosphere, from the filming locations to the costumes, was distinctive and contributed to raising the level of enthusiasm and performance among the work team.

He praised director Sameh Alaa, stressing that his directorial vision played an important role in maintaining the cohesion of the dramatic rhythm and presenting the work in an elaborate manner.
He pointed out that the real turning point in the series came with the child kidnapping scene in the second episode, which greatly attracted the audience’s attention, especially thanks to the strong performance of Reham Abdel Ghafour.
Azmi concluded his statements by praising Hamza Al-Aili’s performance, stressing that he played a distinctive role that added depth to the scenes collected by Riham Abdel Ghafour.
