The Governor of Alexandria witnesses the honoring of the winners of the Holy Quran Memorization Competition with the participation of 1,000 contestants
This came during the award ceremony for the winners of the Holy Qur’an memorization competition, in which about 1,000 memorizers and memorizers of the Book of God participated from various age levels, in a festive atmosphere that reflects the great interest in encouraging young people to memorize the Book of God and promote religious and moral values in society.

During his speech, the governor expressed his happiness at participating in honoring this large number of memorizers of the Holy Qur’an, stressing that Alexandria was and remains a beacon of science, religion and culture throughout its history.
Engineer Ayman Attia explained that supporting such initiatives reflects the state’s keenness to consolidate authentic values in the souls of new generations. He also congratulated the winners and their families, praising the efforts of parents, guardians, and those in charge of organizing the competition in preparing a generation that is aware and adheres to the tolerant teachings of religion.
Attiya stressed that memorizing the Holy Qur’an is not limited to memorization only, but extends to understanding its meanings and acting according to its values in daily behavior, wishing continued success to all participants, and thanking all the organizers of this event, which reflects the spirit of cooperation to serve society.
