The Authority confirmed that the warning comes within the framework of periodic follow-up procedures and monitoring of pharmaceutical preparations circulating in the markets, stressing the continuation of corrective measures and continuous follow-up of pharmaceutical items, in addition to intensifying awareness campaigns for citizens regarding the dangers of circulating medicines and preparations of unknown origin.

The Medicines Authority appealed to citizens to purchase pharmaceutical preparations only from licensed pharmacies, to ensure obtaining safe products that comply with quality requirements, stressing that in the event of suspicion of any pharmaceutical preparation, the Authority can be contacted via the hotline 15301 or through the official website for reporting or inquiries.
