The events of the first half of the series ended a little while ago Zamalek and Smouha matchwhich currently brings together the two teams, on the floor of the Arab Contractors Stadium for the third round of the group stage rounds of the Egyptian Capital Cup.
Result of the match between Zamalek and Smouha
The Smouha team decided the first half in its favor with an unanswered goal, scored by Hossam Ashraf, the current Smouha and former Zamalek player, in the 40th minute, after a powerful shot inside the penalty area.
The two teams started the match enthusiastically, and the players wasted chances during the first ten minutes of the first half. Zamalek almost opened the scoring through Adam Kayed, while Smouha’s attack wasted two goals, including a header by Hossam Ashraf that hit Mohamed Awad’s crossbar.
In the 14th minute of the first half, Smouha player Abdo Yahya missed the chance of a certain goal for his team, while Zamalek players watched.
In the 29th minute, Ahmed Sharif, the Zamalek player, shot a direct free kick, which hit the crossbar of Smouha goalkeeper Ahmed Mihoub, preventing a certain goal for Al-Abyad.
In the 40th minute, Hossam Ashraf scored Smouha’s first goal, after a powerful shot, and the ball went into Mohamed Awad’s net.
The referee blew the whistle at the end of the first half after counting 5 minutes of stoppage time.
