A team from the investigation authorities moved to Qalyoub In Qalyubia Governorate To the home of the Umm Bayoumi family, who was the victim of a gas leak while sleeping, to inspect the site of the accident and the four bodies inside their house.
The initial examination revealed that the death resulted from inhaling a gas leaking inside the house, and there is no criminal suspicion so far.

The bodies were transferred to Qalyoub Hospital at the disposal of the investigating authorities, and the prosecution decided to assign forensic medicine to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death and authorize the burial afterwards.
An entire family, consisting of a couple and two children, was killed as a result of a gas leak in the Umm Bayoumi area of the Qalyoub Police Station. The bodies were transported to Qalyoub Hospital, a report was issued on the incident, and the concerned authorities took over the investigation.
The Director of the General Administration of Qalyubia Investigations and the Chief of Qalyubia Investigations received a notification from the Sheriff of Qalyoub Police Station and the Chief of Investigations at Qalyoub Police Station that a report had been received that 4 bodies had been found inside their home in the Umm Bayoumi area.
Immediately, the security services moved to the scene of the accident, led by the warden of the Qalyoub Police Station, the chief of investigations at the Qalyoub Police Station, and the station’s investigation assistants to the site of the report, supported by two ambulances, to uncover the circumstances of the incident. Upon inspection and examination, it was revealed that a young man named “Khalil,” aged 28, and his wife and their twin children (a boy and a girl), aged three and a half years, died as a result of severe suffocation as a result of inhaling the gas leaking inside the apartment.
The bodies were transferred to Qalyoub Hospital at the disposal of the investigating authorities, a report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the Public Prosecution directly took over the investigation.
