The Qur’anic school in the village of Al-Bairat, affiliated with the Qurna Center in the Governorate, won the award Luxor In an unprecedented achievement that coincides with the bliss of the holy month of Ramadan, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif took first place in all levels of the annual competition for the Holy Quran, thus placing it on the throne of the competition at the governorate level and confirming its leadership in teaching and memorizing the Book of God.
Comprehensive superiority and honorable representation of the governorate
The male and female students of the Qur’anic School demonstrated their exceptional merit after they were able to seize first place in every level of this major competition.
Thanks to this overwhelming superiority, the school is preparing to represent Luxor Governorate at the republic level with an honorable delegation that includes 16 male and female students who have memorized the Holy Qur’an.
This remarkable success reflects the amount of effort exerted by the sheikhs and teachers of the school in memorizing and improving the Book of God, especially in this holy month in which attention to the Qur’an is doubled.
Preparing for the final qualifiers in Cairo
The eyes of the people of Luxor and lovers of the Holy Qur’an are turning to the capital, where the final qualifiers for the competition will be held on Monday, March 9, inside the Grand Conference Hall in Nasr City.
The people of Luxor aspire to continue their series of victories and achieve first places in the republic, as a culmination of their distinguished career in memorization and recitation.
The Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Competition is one of the most important religious competitions that highlights young talents and supports memorizers of the Qur’an in various parts of Egypt, which makes the arrival of the people of Luxor to this advanced stage a badge of honor that all the people of the governorate are proud of.
