The global platform OncoDaily announced its 2025 list of the 100 most influential people in the field of oncology worldwide, where it was chosen Dr. Hisham Al-Ghazali The Chairman of the National Committee for the Presidential Initiative on Women’s Health, the President of the Egyptian Oncology Society and the Head of the Research Center at Ain Shams University are among this global elite, on the list of the 100 most influential figures in the field of oncology for the year 2025.

This year, the list witnessed the selection of Dr. Hisham Al-Ghazaly, Chairman of the National Committee for the Presidential Initiative for Women’s Health, President of the Egyptian Oncology Society and Head of the Research Center at Ain Shams University, among this global elite, to be the only Egyptian to receive this honor and international selection, in an achievement that reflects his scientific standing and his influential role in developing cancer patient care, clinical research, medical education, and international cooperation in the field of oncology.

Dr. Hisham Al-Ghazali is the founder and president of the International Breast and Gynecological Cancer Society (BGICS), which was established to advance cancer prevention, early detection, multidisciplinary education, patient support programs, and collaborative research in the field of breast and gynecological cancer. Under his leadership, the Society organizes the annual International Conference on Breast and Gynecological Cancer, an important regional scientific forum that brings together thousands of specialists from around the world.

Dr. Hesham Al-Azaly is a Professor of Clinical Oncology, a member of the Egyptian Supreme Committee for Cancer Control, and Vice-Chairman of the Breast Cancer Committee of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network in the Middle East and North Africa. Professor Al-Ghazaly has contributed to the development of clinical practice guidelines issued by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) and breast cancer guidelines issued by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network in the Middle East and North Africa, supporting evidence-based and region-specific healthcare in the field of cancer treatment.
