The Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of senior officials in the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, in a surprise attack at the beginning of the war, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

According to the statement, the attack resulted in the killing of Deputy Minister of Intelligence Sayed Yahya Hamidi, the head of the Intelligence Service, Jalal For Hussein, and a number of senior officials.
The Israeli army spokesman said, Monday morning, that Israel is prepared for all possibilities, in defense and attack.
He continued: We previously warned Hezbollah that it would pay a heavy price. We estimate that the attack will continue for four or five weeks.
The occupation army spokesman added: We will attack targets in Lebanon after Hezbollah enters the front line, and we are discussing the option of carrying out a ground operation inside Lebanon.
He explained: The campaign will continue no matter what it takes, and we have called in 100,000 reserve forces, adding that hundreds of Air Force aircraft are attacking in Lebanon and Iran.
He added: We will do everything in our power to protect the residents of the northern regions, and we also attacked senior leaders in Hezbollah – senior old leaders who are still in the organization, and we are studying the results of the attack.
In a related context, the Iranian Red Crescent announced the killing of 555 Iranians since the start of the American-Israeli attacks on Iran.
