During the meeting, the Committee’s Board of Directors reviewed the formation of the Committee, in addition to reviewing the idea of establishing a headquarters for the Paralympic Committee in the New Capital, as well as presenting work plans and technical and administrative programs for developing the Paralympic sports system in Egypt, in a way that contributes to supporting champions with special abilities and enabling them to achieve more achievements at the continental and international levels.
During the meeting, the Minister of Youth and Sports affirmed the ministry’s keenness to provide all aspects of support for Paralympic sports, praising the achievements made by Egypt’s champions in international tournaments, which reflect the amount of effort exerted by the players, technical staff, and the committee’s board of directors.
Gohar Nabil added that the state pays great attention to supporting Paralympic sports champions, in light of their honorable achievements in various continental and international championships, stressing that the Ministry is working to provide an integrated environment to prepare and qualify players in a way that befits their abilities and ambitions, in cooperation with the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, in a way that enhances the chances of achieving more medals and raising Egypt’s name in international sports forums.
