The meeting of the Human Rights and Solidarity Committee in the Senate began a short while ago, under the chairmanship of…Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Qasabi.
Dr. Badr Abdel Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of officials from the Ministry, participate in the meeting, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Al-Awadi, Undersecretary of the Senate.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the Egyptian state’s plan and approach to developing the human rights file, the world’s vision of Egypt’s efforts to support human rights, and the national human rights strategy.
It is noteworthy that the Senate approved, during this week’s sessions, two draft amendments to the Electricity and Sports Professions Syndicate laws.
