The activities of a values ​​forum for students of Egyptian universities and institutes will begin this Monday evening, and this comes in implementation of the Egyptian state’s directions towards building humanity and strengthening the system of values ​​among university youth, under the patronage of Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The forum is organized by the Leadership Development Institute and the Student Activities Sector, during the period from March 2 to 4, 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister for Student Activities and Director of the Leadership Development Institute, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities.

The organization of the forum is a practical translation of the Ministry’s strategy Higher education And scientific research aimed at investing in youth as they are the basic foundation for building the new republic, and consolidating the role of student activities as one of the fundamental axes in shaping the awareness of generations and refining their personalities.

The forum brings together an elite group of students from public, private, technological and private universities, and Egyptian institutes, within an integrated program that combines national education, awareness-building, and enhancing the spirit of belonging, in addition to developing leadership and social skills.

The program includes a diverse package of events, including dialogue sessions, educational meetings, and specialized workshops, as well as sports, cultural, and artistic activities that contribute to developing team spirit and teamwork.

The forum will also witness an opening session and a number of lectures that address the themes of the national strategy to combat drugs and investment in prevention, in addition to workshops for building social initiatives and educational meetings concerned with consolidating values ​​and building youth awareness to keep pace with the challenges of the current stage.

The forum will witness a dialogue session with His Eminence Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Mufti of the Republic, entitled “Values ​​and Building Youth Awareness,” emphasizing the importance of enlightened religious discourse in supporting national identity, consolidating the values ​​of moderation and moderation among students, and promoting rational awareness based on a correct understanding of religious and national values.

For his part, Dr. Karim Hammam stressed that the forum represents a strategic platform for creating awareness and strengthening the system of values among university youth, pointing out that real investment begins with investing in minds and consciences before skills, adding that the Ministry pays great attention to student activities as it is the broadest space for discovering energies and creating young leaders capable of taking responsibility and actively participating in building the nation. He explained that the forum is not limited to providing knowledge content, but rather aims to bring about an intellectual and behavioral transformation among students through an interactive environment based on dialogue and experience. And participation, in a way that contributes to preparing a generation that is aware of its national issues, believes in the values of work and belonging, and is capable of launching sustainable community initiatives.

The forum reflects the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in consolidating the concept of the university as an integrated system that is not limited to academic education, but extends to include building a balanced national character, ensuring the graduation of cadres who possess both knowledge and values, and contribute effectively to achieving the goals of sustainable development.
