Helmy Abdel Baqi revealed the latest developments in his investigation within the Musical Professions Syndicate headed by Mustafa Kamal, against the backdrop of his transfer to the Disciplinary Board.
The investigation into Helmy Abdel Baqi at the Musicians Syndicate has been postponed until next April
Helmy Abdel Baqi said: I submitted requests and documents that led to the postponement of my investigation until next April, and they are scheduled to be considered in the coming days.
For his part, Helmy Abdel Baqi’s lawyer added: My client’s crisis is that he neglected to treat some members, but his own financial crisis is not tainted by anything, and the problem occurred because of accounts in the union.
It is noteworthy that, in recent days, Helmy Abdel Baqi expressed his astonishment at his transfer to the union’s disciplinary council, stressing that he does not yet know the reason for this procedure, describing what is happening as an attempt to oust him from the union’s council after his overwhelming success in the internal elections.
Abdel Baqi also spoke about this crisis, during his statements on the Al-Basma program with the journalist Tamer Abdel Moneim, where he said that he does not yet know the reason for his transfer to the Disciplinary Council, stressing that he knows that the current Syndicate Council wants to oust him from the Council, especially after his overwhelming success in the Musicians Council elections.
He also added that he did not commit any violations, pointing out that the accusations of the existence of audio recordings that insulted the head of the council, Mustafa Kamel, were baseless. He said: I did not commit any violations, and there are no audio recordings in which I insulted the head of the council, Mustafa Kamel, as he claimed.
