Major General Tariq Rashid announced, Governor of SohagThe actual implementation of the online remote work system has begun for a number of employees in the governorate’s general office, concerned authorities, and service directorates, in conjunction with its implementation at the republic level, in implementation of the state’s directions towards rationalizing government spending and accelerating digital transformation during the current month of April.
Sohag Governor follows up on the regularity of remote work in technology centers
The Governor directed the Central Operations Room to monitor the regularity of work progress electronically in all departments included in the decision, with an emphasis on achieving effective and immediate communication between workers and their superiors to ensure the accuracy of task execution. He stressed that the remote work system is a modern method that requires discipline and efficiency, not vacation, pointing out that a comprehensive performance evaluation must be conducted at the end of the day to monitor the results and work to develop the experience.
The governor confirmed that the vital and field sectors continue to operate at full capacity and will not be included in the system, including technological centers to serve citizens, engineering departments, the legalization system, spatial variables, reconciliation files, and the removal of encroachments, as well as emergency and maintenance teams, medical staff in hospitals and health units, in addition to regular studies in schools and universities.
In the same context, Kamal Soliman, Deputy Governor of Sohag, conducted a field tour that included a number of technology centers, including the governorate’s general office, the East and West Districts, and the Sohag Center, to follow up on the regularity of work and ensure that services continue to be provided to citizens with the required efficiency and speed.
During the tour, the Deputy Governor stressed the need to quickly finalize citizens’ requests and notify them of their status immediately, noting that implementing the remote work system will not affect the quality of services provided, but rather aims to enhance the efficiency of the administrative apparatus and measure its ability to adapt to digital transformation.
