Today, Major General Dr. Mohamed Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, laid a wreath on the memorial to the police martyrs at the headquarters of the Security Forces Administration, in the presence of Mrs. Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor, Major General Walid Mansour, Assistant Minister of the Interior for Governorate Security, Colonel Mohamed Shaarawy, Military Advisor to the Governorate, Colonel Ihab Nafie, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, and a group of security, executive and popular leaders, as part of the governorate’s celebrations of the 74th anniversary of Egyptian Police Day.

The ceremony began with the playing of military music for the Martyr’s Peace, followed by the reading of Al-Fatiha for the souls of the righteous police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and wrote with their blood the most wonderful epics of heroism for the sake of Egypt’s stability and territorial integrity.
Zamlot was keen to congratulate the police leaders, individuals and recruits, praising their sacrifices in preserving the internal front and securing the development gains that the governorate is witnessing under the new republic, praying to God to preserve Egypt’s leadership and people, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and stability upon it.
