Today, Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, held an extensive meeting with the people of the center and city of Minya within the framework of the governorate’s keenness to meet the needs of citizens and find urgent solutions to problems in light of social responsibility and legal frameworks, with the aim of improving the quality of life and raising the level of services provided to the most vulnerable groups.

The governor stressed that these meetings come in implementation of the directives of the political leadership on the necessity of direct communication with citizens in all villages and cities.
He added that providing effective solutions to problems in coordination with the concerned authorities is one of the priorities of the executive branch, in order to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction among the people of the governorate.
Within the framework of the meeting, Major General Kadwani issued his directives to the head of the center to immediately begin the work of paving and raising the efficiency of Bahdal Road as part of the state’s plan to improve infrastructure and improve traffic on internal roads.
The governor also instructed the relevant authorities to quickly complete all operational procedures for the Zahra Services Complex and bring it into service as soon as possible, noting that the complex represents a qualitative leap in the provision of government services, as it was designed to be an integrated service facility that includes outlets for all government departments, which contributes to facilitating the Al-Minyawi citizen’s access to his services in record time and with minimal effort, in line with the state’s plan for digital transformation.
Major General Kadwani responded to a number of residents’ requests, which included providing job opportunities, kiosk licenses, and housing units for vulnerable families. He also directed the distribution of food supplies and the disbursement of urgent aid to a number of humanitarian cases, in addition to providing the necessary treatment and performing surgical operations for critically ill cases.
He directed the Social Solidarity Directorate to be assigned to coordinate with civil society organizations to provide a bridal device for one of the cases, stressing the necessity of conducting accurate social research to ensure that support reaches those who deserve it and to achieve the principle of equal opportunities.
With regard to preserving the cultural appearance and public health, the Governor of Minya stressed the need to activate environmental committees and planning technicians in all local units, to conduct a comprehensive inventory of homes overlooking canals and take legal measures against violators who throw or burn garbage, especially in areas of shelter housing, to protect public health and conserve water resources.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Saeed Mohamed, Head of the Minya Center and City, Naglaa Hamdy, Director of the Citizen Service Department, heads of neighborhoods and rural units, a number of executive leaders in the governorate, and representatives of the Drinking Water, Sanitation and Electricity Company.
