Engineer Abdel Muttalib Emara, Governor of Luxor, conducted an inspection tour to follow up on service projects in the center and city of Qurna. The tour included paving projects, covering drains, and developing water stations.
Paving works in Al-Qibli Qamula
The governor began his tour by inspecting the road paving works in the village of Al-Qibli Qamula. The road extends one kilometer in length, and starts from the entrance of the village all the way to the family medicine unit. The National Contracting Company carried out these works to improve the road network in the village.




Covering the Nile Trad Siala Bank and developing the Shaat Canal
The governor directed to study the coverage of the Nile Trad Siala Bank in front of the health unit in Qabli Qamula. This directive comes in response to the demands of the people and to facilitate movement, in accordance with the available financial allocations.
The governor also inspected the work of clearing and covering the second phase of the Shaat Canal, 150 meters long. The governor pointed out the need to accelerate implementation rates to serve farmers, noting that 85 meters were completed in the first phase.
Increasing the efficiency of the Nag Habashi water station
The governor concluded the tour by visiting the Nag Habashi water filter station. The visit aimed to follow up on the work of raising the station’s efficiency and increasing its production capacity to ensure improved drinking water services.
The governor was accompanied by officials from the Water and Sanitation Company, the Irrigation, Roads and Transport Directorates, and the head of the city of Qurna.
