Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza, conducted an inspection tour of the Mariouteya Cultural Service Park. This is to monitor the regularity of work, and to ensure that drivers adhere to the new route tariffs approved by the governorate after moving the prices of petroleum products, and not to exaggerate in collecting fares from citizens.
During his tour, the governor made sure that the officials of the service, public transportation, and parking facilities posted information signs inside the parking lot and placed stickers on the service cars, which include the new tariffs for the various traffic routes, in addition to the complaint numbers designated for receiving citizens’ reports in the event of any violations.
The governor also listened to the opinions of a number of drivers about the new tariff, and through his conversation with passengers frequenting the parking lot, he reassured the drivers of their commitment to collecting the specified fare without any transgression, directing citizens to report any cases of violation.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari stressed to the heads of neighborhoods and relevant agencies the need to intensify field campaigns on parking lots and traffic routes to ensure that drivers adhere to the prescribed tariffs and not divide traffic routes, while taking legal measures against violators.
The Governor of Giza stressed that there will be no tolerance for drivers who do not adhere to the specified tariffs or those who divide the traffic routes, indicating that the prescribed financial fines will be imposed and the route will be permanently canceled in the event of a repeat violation, in order to preserve the rights of citizens and prevent any exploitation.
