Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, announced the suspension of classes today, Thursday, in all schools in the governorate, due to the expected weather fluctuations, in the context of ensuring the safety of students and teachers.

The governor explained that the decision came after continuous follow-up of the reports of the Meteorological Authority, and in coordination with the concerned authorities, including the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and the Ministry of Local Development, to ensure that the appropriate decision is taken at the appropriate time.

The Governor of Beni Suef confirmed that this measure comes within the state’s plan to deal with emergency conditions and reduce any risks that may result from bad weather conditions, especially with the possibility of rain and wind activity.

The governor also stressed raising the maximum level of preparedness in all executive agencies, assigning the heads of local units to conduct continuous field follow-up, ensure the readiness of rainwater removal equipment, maintain the regularity of traffic, and the safety of citizens.
