Wasel Engineer Amr Lashin, Governor AswanHe held a series of periodic meetings with members of the legislative authority, where he held a meeting with a number of members of the House of Representatives, namely Representative Jaber Abu Khalil, Representative Hilal Al-Dandarawi, and Representative Mona Shaker, to discuss the most prominent issues and service and development files at the governorate level.
Continuous coordination with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate
This came within the framework of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to strengthen direct communication channels with citizens and respond immediately to their needs.
During the meeting, the Governor of Aswan confirmed that these meetings come within the framework of continuous coordination with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, in implementation of the mandates of the political leadership on the necessity of strengthening channels of communication with citizens directly and through their representatives under the dome of Parliament, and working to monitor needs and problems on the ground, discussing various issues and public requests, and working to develop urgent and immediate solutions to the existing challenges in accordance with the laws and regulating rules through concerted efforts between the executive agencies and members of Parliament, which contributes to supporting the state’s efforts to improve the level of services provided to citizens. In various sectors.
The Governor of Aswan also praised the role played by members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and the tangible efforts they are making in supporting development plans within the governorate, stressing that this joint cooperation and coordination directly contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of development and service projects in a way that supports the completion of the development process and achieving more achievements that benefit the people of Aswan Governorate.
For their part, the members of the House of Representatives expressed their appreciation for the good reception and continued cooperation on the part of the Governor of Aswan, appreciating the speed of his response in directing the executive agencies at various levels and service directorates to deal immediately with the requests and proposals submitted by members of Parliament and citizens.
The deputies also praised the work mechanism applied within the governorate’s general office, which is based on following up on deputies’ requests through follow-up with the Political Communication Department, in addition to continuous coordination with deputies’ offices to follow up on requests on the ground through their representatives, which contributes to achieving speed of response and accurate follow-up to all issues raised at the executive and popular levels.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to expand the organization of public meetings to include various villages and centers at the governorate level, in a way that enhances direct communication with citizens and listening to their demands and needs on the ground. It was also emphasized that periodic meetings will continue to be held with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate every Wednesday, in addition to weekly citizens’ meetings held on Sundays and Wednesdays, within the framework of an institutional approach that reflects the governorate’s keenness to enhance community participation and achieve the highest levels of coordination and integration between various state institutions to serve the people of Aswan.
