The official account of the late artist Nevin Mandour announced the date of receiving her condolences, through her official page on Facebook.
Her husband commented, saying: “And those who, when a calamity befalls them, say, ‘Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.’” With faithful hearts content with God’s decree and destiny, I passed to the mercy of God Almighty, my dear wife Nevin Muhammad Salah Mandour. The eyes shed tears, the heart grieves, and we are saddened by your departure, and we only say what pleases God. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.
He continued about the date of the funeral: The funeral will be on Sunday, December 21, after the Maghrib prayer from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Martyr Abdel Moneim Riad Mosque (Smouha), Al-Wahid Hall, Sunday.
Earlier, one of the artist’s neighbors, Nevin Mandour, revealed the details of her recent death, noting that a fire broke out in her house in the Asafra area in Alexandria yesterday morning, which led to her death as a result of heavy smoke.
He said during statements to Cairo 24: Nevin Mandour died after a fire in her apartment, and her husband and the maid were with her, but she was the only one who died, and in the morning her husband kept screaming and collapsed so that someone could catch them, and no one knew because of the smoke from the fire.
The news of the death of the artist Sherif Idris was announced through his account on the Instagram photo and short video sharing site, saying: There is no god but God. The good and beautiful friend Nevin Mandour has passed away. May God have mercy on you and be kind to you.
