The Egyptian Red Crescent, North Sinai Branch, distributed food baskets to vulnerable families and those affected by crises and disasters as part of the Crescent of Charity campaign launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent nationwide in the month of Ramadan 2026.
Volunteers received the food baskets, unloaded them, and prepared them for distribution to the first families of parishioners registered on the branch’s databases.
It is worth noting that the Crescent of Goodness campaign is a Ramadan humanitarian initiative launched by the Egyptian Red Crescent to promote social solidarity, aiming to support 6.5 million beneficiaries of families most in need of care inside Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
Activities include distributing breakfast and suhoor meals, food baskets, and breakfast tables, in addition to a humanitarian kitchen in North Sinai and the Tamra Khairak initiative to distribute dates and water.
