The South African national team eliminated the national team early in the tournament, at home and among its fans, with a fatal goal in the 85th minute of the match by Thembinkosi Lorch.
The trio of Mohamed Salah, Mohamed El-Shenawy and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet are the only participants from the current Egyptian national team roster, in the loss to South Africa in the 2019 Nations Cup in Cairo, so they enter tomorrow’s match looking for special revenge against the boys.
Mohamed Salah showed a bad performance during that match, as he did not shoot any ball against South Africa’s goal, while Mohamed El-Shenawy blocked 5 attempts and conceded a goal, while Trezeguet had two shots out of three on the visitors’ goal for the national team.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian national team opened its campaign in the current edition of the African Cup of Nations by defeating Zimbabwe with two goals to one, and South Africa achieved the same result at the expense of Angola and they share the standings of Group Two.
