The competent investigation authorities in Giza ordered the imprisonment of the microbus driver accused of assaulting a woman in front of her son and robbing her at gunpoint for 4 days, pending investigations into the case.
This happened when they took the microbus from Al-Haram, towards Al-Salam, accompanied by the accused driver.
Microbus driver arrested
The security services had received a report from a housewife, stating that she had been assaulted and her money had been stolen from a driver while she was traveling with her young son in the microbus that he was driving from the Haram area to Al Salam City.
The housewife confirmed in her report that she and her son were riding a microbus from Al-Haram to Al-Salam City, where the housewife and her son remained inside the microbus after all the passengers got off, heading to Al-Salam, and at the bottom of Al-Salam Circle, the driver changed his direction and drove the car on the way back.
The housewife added that the driver stopped the car on the side of the ring road, went to the back seat and put a white weapon on her son’s neck, asked her for the money she had and seized 450 pounds from it, as the mother shouted, saying: Leave my son and I will do what you want.
The housewife explained that the driver closed the doors and curtains, took her to the back sofa, sexually assaulted her, and left her and her son on the ring road.
