The committee supervising the Engineers Syndicate elections announced that Mohamed Abdel-Ghani won the position of captain, after completing the sorting and collecting votes received from the various committees.

Indicators of the vote counting process in the elections showed that Muhammad Abdel-Ghani advanced in the race for the position of General Captain.
Abdel Ghani received a higher percentage of votes compared to his competitor, Dr. Hani Dhahi, in the runoff, amid remarkable participation from members of the General Assembly in a number of governorates.
In his first statements, Engineer Mohamed Abdel Ghani affirmed his commitment to serving engineers and working to build a strong and advanced union, praising the great awareness of the members of the General Assembly and their keenness to participate effectively in decision-making.
Abdel Ghani explained, during statements to Cairo 24, that the primary goal is to establish an integrated union that provides high-quality services to engineers, and enhances professional arrangements in an organized manner, in a way that benefits Egypt and honors the efforts of engineers.
