He indicated, in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that the medical and administrative procedures in the hospital were completed in full, and that the body of engineer Hossam Sadiq Khalifa will be transported to Cairo tomorrow morning, and that company and union officials will be present at the airport tomorrow to receive the body.

Srouji confirmed that the union is working to complete all the procedures for the plane that will transport the body, noting that all necessary procedures in the Emirates have almost been completed to ensure the speedy completion of the transportation process.

He stressed that the union is closely following the incident, providing full support to the families of the victims and injured, and coordinating with the authorities to guarantee the rights of all those affected.

Earlier, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a statement: As part of the ongoing follow-up to the previously announced incident at the Habshan Gas Facilities, which resulted from the fall of shrapnel following the successful interception by air defences, the competent authorities confirm that two fires broke out at the site, and the emergency response teams began dealing with the incident quickly and with high efficiency, and the situation was brought under control.

The statement continued: This accident resulted in the death of an Egyptian person during the evacuation of the site, and four people sustained minor injuries, two of Pakistani nationality and two of Egyptian nationality.

He added: Serious damage was also caused to the facilities, and assessment work is still ongoing. The competent authorities call on the public to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid circulating rumors or unreliable information.
