She spent Criminal Court of First Instance Giza – District 22, headed by Counselor Ashraf Ali Al-Hawari and the membership of Counselors Wael Ahmed Abdullah and Mohamed Sayed Youssef, Presidents of the Cairo Court of Appeal, punishing the accused (M.F.A.A) with aggravated imprisonment for a period of 3 years, in Case No. 2494 of 2023, Pyramid Felons, registered under No. 1126 of 2023, the whole of October, with the continuation of the trial of another accused who escaped in the incident.
The aggravated sentence is 3 years for someone accused of indecently displaying 3 girls and photographing them by force in Al-Haram
Lawyer Ihab Al-Mansouri said that the referral order revealed that the defendants in the Al-Haram Police Department in Giza Governorate assaulted 3 minor girls under the age of eighteen, in conjunction with unknown others, using force and threats and instilling terror in them.
He explained that the investigations indicated that the first accused drew a firearm against the victims to paralyze their resistance, and he and the rest of the accused were able to unbutton the girls’ clothes and expose their private parts, as indicated in the investigations.
He pointed out that the beginning was when the victim (W.S.H.) received a phone call from the accused, during which he expressed his desire to rent one of the residential units, so he agreed with her to meet him inside her residence at the scene of the incident, and she was accompanied by three other girls.
As soon as he arrived at the apartment, the victims were surprised when he brandished a firearm and threatened to harm them if they did not comply with his orders, which paralyzed their resistance, before he opened the apartment door and a number of unknown people carrying white weapons entered.
He added that the defendants forcibly tore the girls’ clothes and attempted to assault them. One of them also touched parts of the body of one of the victims and photographed them using a mobile phone.
The defendants also seized sums of money, gold jewelry, and mobile phones from the victims, before fleeing the scene, where one of them fired a gunshot into the air while escaping.
In her statements before the investigating authorities, the victim confirmed the details of the incident, noting that the accused pointed the firearm at her and the other girls, before allowing the rest of the accused to enter the apartment, assault them, and steal their belongings.
